I just acquired an older Pfaff Tiptronic 2040 but the lady could hot find the manual for it...I could purchase one for $30 but as soon as I do she will probably locate the book.

The problem is that no matter how I thread it, the end result is a bunch of thread under the material. I have done and redone the threading so I must not be doimissing something along the line. Bobbin seems to be doing ok.

Once I get that figured out perhaps trial and error will show me how to work the rest of all those buttons.

Any one with an idea?

Check you bobbin, it could not have the correct tension.
Also, when the bobbin was filled the thread could be to loose.
