I would like to see it in modern patriotic red white blue fabrics, I think it would be exciting.

I have been toying with the idea of using this pattern for my collection of 'Goodwill Men's Shirts' but now I think that the Civil War idea is a better fit. Go for it................

Wow, so many good alternate suggestions! Thanks everyone! I will go with my original thought and use civil war fabrics, but I may end up making a few versions with some of the other suggestions.
