$9.99 to $10.99. I also order a lot online, especially from Fabric.com. And I've gotten some real deals here on the Forum.

$18.95/ metre and up here in Edmonton, Alberta. That's why I buy my fabrics online and from members here.

Wow that is really pricey....In the UK I am now paying between £11-12/ metre Yard =36 inches and Metre = 39 inches ....that's between $18-21 ....won't be travelling to Ireland to quilt too soon !
Have you tried buying it from the US...even with postage it is normally still alot cheaper

Was in the Joann's store in Minot and they have lot of quality q fabric at 3.99 some of the pricier stuff is marked down to 7 & 8. Of course if you want specialty costs a little more. fat qtrs were $.99 each. daffodil dash stuff was 2.99.

$16.98 and up - that's per metre. Fabric shops in the USA are my downfall!

Your answers convince me that I am doing the right thing to go to Thrift Stores and buy fabric. At St. Vincents I bought 20 yards for $9.00. At Good Will I bought 2 yards for $2.00 All these are new fabrics. All I need to do is sterilize them and use. I especially look for Crib quilt designs.

I was in Wal-Mart a couple of weeks ago and looked over their fabric. It was %5.95 a yard and was like 150 thread count. I wouldn't want it even if they were giving it away. Can you imagine the shrinkage?

We're over $10, and that includes quilting cottons at JoAnn's as well as the LQS. I always check on line, sites like Z & S fabrics, Connecting Threads, e-quilter. I always check out the clearance items on these sites, too. Lately I've been shopping in my stash - about time I start using these fabrics and kits that I just "had to have" LOL
