Hi all. I really need some adv ice. I have a chance to purchase a Husqvqrna Mega Quilter machine with frame. Does anyone have one? Do they do a good job or quilting free hand. That is what I am looking for it to. Thank you so much. I am in the boonie in New Hampshire and cannot find any dealers within 200 miles

Hi, at the top of the page is a search button.

If this is one of the older Mega Quilter, I would pass on it, the bed of the machine is no bigger then your regular sewing machine. I do understand that they now have one with 18", which gives you a whole lot more room to quilt, with the original one, by the time you get 3 rolls of your quilt in there, you can only quilt a tiny bit. I had so much trouble with mine(original) that I returned it and got my money back.

It really depends on the type of quilting you want to do. I have the original machine, and I quilted probably around 15 quilt tops. I had no problem at all and I love the machine itself. I have a longarm now, so I don't quilt on this machine. I still use it to piece on.
