I hate to go against the tide but I think the plaid and green next to each other as in 2 borders will be to dark. The plaid really sets off the colors in the quilt, IMHO. Very pretty quilt!!

I made a twister recently and used a narrow border followed by wider binding. Here's a peek:

I just want to see this when you've added the borders! Love that plaid fabric with it, and narrow green strip between.. you've had some great advice from all the quilters...
