Hello,

I just finished a Dahlia and I'd like to know if there is a traditionnal way to quilt it. I already quilted every petal, and now I don't know how or what to do around.

If you have any ideas, I'll be grateful !

Have a nice day!

Patricia

That is beautiful. Nice work. As to finish quilting it, I've seen where they have cross hatched it from the petals outward sorta arched and I've seen just radiating lines from the petal points. I'm sure whatever you choose will be beautiful.

I love your Dahalia. It is so beautiful. I might try some feathery stuff around it.

Here is a link to a great stencil for the dahlia

http://www.frommarti.com/mm5/merchan..._Code=A_Dahlia

I think you can do this without the stencil easily.

Beautiful! I would continue the line of the dahlia out to the edge. It will be crossed when you do both directions. Does that make sense... lol
