The best place to find hankerchiefs for ladys is Amish stores. you can also order them from craft magazines. I perfer to go to the Amish they are friendly people who are great at quilting.

I used my mothers, grandmothers and aunts (even one of my dads) hankies on a shower curtain. It is stunning, if I may say so! Purchased an inexpensive white shower curtain and fused pellon on the back of each hankie for strength, then set them at a diagonal. I'm collecting Christmas hankies now for some quilt tops. The butterfly quilt is gorgeous - what a great idea!
