OMG - I think you found Fantasyland, and it wasn't at Disneyland. Lucky you, and how nice to have someone to share the experience with. I'm so jealous - wish I could have shared the experience with you.

Looks like you all died and went to heaven. I would have had to spend the night!! I certainly would have no money left!!

Hi, I have identical photos to yours and I am also from New Zealand, I was just standing there with my mouth open and a customer came up to me and said " Would you like me to take your photo.
I am going back to this wonderful shop next year

I also live about 20 min. away. I can always find something I need there. The last time I was there, it seemed that the prices had gone up a fair amount, but still much lower than other stores. It's a great place.

The flat folds were like $2.49 but I got newer fabric (like Robert Kaufman and Moda fabrics) for anywhere between $2.98 - $5.98. There were also some for normal retail prices ($8-11 a yard). I also picked up a ton of Kona solids that I just can't get over here....it was still cheap by NZ prices.

I got to visit there last April while visiting my daughter. Even my 6 YO DGD enjoyed our shopping trip. She decided while we were fabric shopping that she is going to visit her DGM in Michigan and learn to quilt! I told her to hold that thought.....one day we'll do it!
