    I am referring to special cut, jelly rolls, layer cakes etc.These are very expensive, so agroup of us go and buy yardage, say 1& 1l2 yds each of different fabrics the group has agreed on, and then we sub cut into jelly rolls, Fqs and other cuts. Really saves money.

    And if the members of your group prefer to wash your fabrics before cutting them, you can do so without worrying about all the little pieces fraying and getting wonky.
