I just received my first BOM from FQS. I am so excited! I know I will learn new techniques, and look forward to receiving something manageable (I hope!) each month for a year. I got the finishing kit and backing kit too, and I just love the fabrics. It's Moda Glace. I have wanted to get a monthly squishy for a long time, and finally decided why not?
I will post a picture when I get it done. Anyone else participating in this one?

Not participating but can't wait to see it. Can you post a pic of the first block so that we don't have to wait 12 months?

I'll post it as soon as I have it done. That doesn't mean you won't have to wait! I'm a teacher wrapping up the end of the year, and then I'm leaving Friday for a bluegrass festival. I'm hoping to find some time Monday night when we get back.

I actually took the squishy to bed with last night to fondle the fabric and read the instructions. My husband says this quilting habit must be my new porn when I start taking it to bed. I always tease him about his car and RV magazines being his night time "porn" to read in bed. :wink:
Monday night I will be cutting and sewing.
