What a bummer! My friend Cindi gave me the one I have. She originally bought her first Reliable to replace her Rowenta and liked it so much, she purchased a second Reliable for her mom. When her mom passed a couple of years ago, she gave me her mom's Reliable and I haven't had any problems with it.

I have had an Oliso Pro for almost 4 years now and it has been wonderful. A quick search on the internet will show you some different companies with varying prices...some a lot less than others. For smaller projects that don't require the use of steam I use a Clover mini iron.

I would like to find a solid sole plate for fusible and freezer paper. I get so frosted when I get those little holes show up when I'm shrinking my freezer paper. I use a clover mini iron for small stuff, Euro Steam Evo. and a Sunbeam cheapo
