Default Favourite Pattern?

I am new to quilting and have tried a few different patterns. Just wondering if you more experienced quilters have a favourite pattern that you could make over and over again.

BTW, I have learned so much from this board and I thank all of you for your tips.

Thanks.

My favorites (I like relatively easy patterns) are log cabin, warm wishes, dresden plate, tumbler, pinwheels, simple blocks sewn together with sashing between, rail fence.

I seldom do a pattern more than once except for those that are appliqued and I do stitch some repeats of those. I would like to do another "snail's Trail" That one was fun to do!

I prefer simple and easy, so I like pinwheels, DP9, simple nine or four patch, rail fence and log cabin

Irish Chain and Trip Around the World are my easy strip pieced favorites.

My go-to blocks are 9 patch, DP9 and log cabin. I also love the 1600 inch (made with one jelly roll).

Whatever you choose - make it an easy one. My first quilt is unfinished and has been in my closet for 40 years!!!!! A horrible mess. I should have chosen an easier pattern. I was a clothing seamstress and thought that I could master this complicated pattern - doubt if it would last for one washing.

I always have a difficult time with this question....there are so many wonderful patterns. I really enjoy applique and have done a couple Sun Bonnet Sue quilts and Dresden Plate quilts, plus any quilt pattern that uses lots of scraps. Very interesting and fun reading every ones comments. Thanks for sharing.

I like Warm Wishes. I haven't made one for myself yet, but I have made many for others. Soon I will do one for me, I think.
