You are all such a helpful bunch I immediately thought of coming here. This afternoon I was in a thrift store where I bought some great quilting books.

Anyway the owner said she was looking for baby quilt that was about 12 inches square and had ribbon loops out the sides. She wants someone to make her one. I have never seen one of these. Do any of you know what she is talking about?

I just need to see a picture of one to clarify what she wants.

By the way, she also said she had an old Singer in her garage. I get to see it tomorrow. She didn't seem to know how old it was, just that it was a Singer.

Probably talking about a tag blanket. The brand name is "taggie" I believe. You can make little soft toys with the loops, too. babies like the different textures of the ribbons. I've made many as gifts.

I've made many tag blankets and they are a big hit.

I knew someone would know.

Thanks for the ehow site. Great instructions. No picture but I can imagine what they look like.

Thank you all.
