Watching the TV one financial guru says that not only cotton , but everything made from cotton will take a jump when warmer weather comes....esp. mentioned Jeans and all cotton clothing. Other than quilts, what would be on your priority list to sew/ make? Thinking of the kids and grandkids.

That's what I have been doing. I think my stash will last for a while now.

Fabric is not the only thing we need to stock up on. What about time of the month supplies - I know not something most want to think about but geesh. The grocery store jumped the price almost $2 for 48 pads then lowered it back a month later.
Anything you use that has cotton, stock up now.

I've been posting bit and pieces for several months to stock up on cotton underwear, tees, jeans, socks, all the basic cotton goods. It will help defray the cost later but not forever.

My DH and I were just discussing this Sat. He thinks toilet paper is made from wood pulp.

Everything is going up except salaries and social security checks. How much more can the average person cut their budget?
