My hubby just got it for me on ebay. I haven't a clue what it is (laughing) I't looked like a featherweight to me, but I just started sewing so I have no clue.

I know the 222 has been going for around 250+ and even in the 300's depending on condition (I believe) The guy didnt list a serial number so I haven't a clue what it is. I will find out soon enough!

The case is wood. In the pic, I cant tell either way.

I haven't seen the all wood case like that one has. I'd love to know what year it was made. Looks just like my FW, except for the case.

Original featherweight cases are made of wood, like in the picture, then covered with a leather-look paper.

It is indeed a fEATHERWEIGHT 221. tHE 222S GO FOr a lot more.

I can see it has an arm that flips up. Just not so visible in this photo.
