Is it ok to use my small gingher scissors to cut out felt letters/numbers that have wonderunder on the back? Or should I get small sharp scissors just for this project?

I would be most concerned about the fiber content of the felt. Polyester , will dull sissors much faster than cotton.

only if it's nice wool felt- if it's (something else- like acrylic) i would not- i keep a pair of good craft shears for craft projects.
