Thread: Finally ready to start cutting!

    After weeks of searching for "the perfect shades" of 24 fabrics for a bargello for DD, I have them all washed and ironed and ready to start cutting tomorrow! I had no idea that finding that many different shades would prove so hard to accomplish. But here they are, seriously hoping that they will work out ok.

    Oh, I love bargellos. I'm teaching a class to my guild members in October. Please post your quilt as it progresses. You did a fabulous job searching for those great colors.

    It is amazing isn't it - you figure you'll just run out to the fabric shop and pick up some extra fabric, and end up going to 2 or 3 shops, and still don't find just what you need. Even with White On White! Can't wait to see your project .... Thanks

    that is the book I used to make a bargello this summer. It was great fun.
