Now off to get cleaning supplies!
be very careful how you clean your baby ! those gold decals
have a way of disappearing with cleaning products. and they
can't easily be replaced. gojo (WITHOUT abrasives) is a good product to work with. stay clear of decals as much as you can. scotch tape will even take them off.
Lucky you, such a great buy. if there is not a manual, get
one right away. everything you need to know is there. also
have electrical checked by someone who knows. best price
I have ever heard of !

Does anyone else wonder how someone could just toss away such a sweet machine?

Happy for you. I remember those machines so good and along with the fabric. Good luck with all. Sue

Damaquilts......u did great on the cabinet & sew folded table too !!To one who inquired as to why getting rid of the Fw, didn't have the time/energy to mess with it. Have brought the decal & mat (for under machine) but still need to get what Lostn51 says work best, going to follow his tute on how to clean it & another friend has emailed me info from David McCallum for oil/lube help.
Haven't decided on a name yet....hmmm, think i will do a post for name help game!
