Default Finishing the big flower panel

This has been done for a while now, but I am not sure how to finish it ...

Should I bind to the front? To the back?

Or should I face it? (I just discovered that method ... honestly, not thinking too hard about that one, since it involves hand sewing!)

If I bind to the front should I use black?

Thanks all ....

Your quilting is beautiful! Binding with black would act to frame it, but might look a little harsh. How about a warm gray, like the darker mid tones or the lighter dark tones in the piece? Or a charcoal gray would be nice, since it looks like that's the color of the darker tones in the background....

Love the panel. Kinda like the batting color myself! Soft and it blends well.

Beautiful quilting, Marion. I am so impressed with you skill. You have been so dedicated to mastering FMQ.. I commend your tenacity.... I agree with Rob.... Using a softer frame will highlight the panel and not pull the eye away from the beauty...
