I have what I think is a cyst on my finger joint, so I can't hand quilt for awhile. Of course I have other options, one being a ds9p top which I had planned to hand tie, so yesterday off to my lqs, right around the corner. She helped me find a backing, needed 6 yds so I found it in the $3.00 yd rack. I needed 3 pieces to go across the quilt, so she cut the fabric in thirds, saved me doing that at home. It's already to sew together now. Helped me find the best batting for it. I had my punch card filled, so got $5.00 off, a guild discount(she's the Pres.) then when I told her I couldn't do the floor thing anymore, did my basting on my king bed, she told me to come back Tuesday and she would set her class tables up so that I could pin it easier. Gotta keep these places in business!!
