WOW, just got home with my Fiskars with Micro-Tip Blades, and boy are they SHARP. Thanks for the tip.

Thanks. That's good to know. I have two snips. I keep one by the sewing machine and one in my sewing machine case that I take to classes. Interesting that the pruning snips come with a blade cover. I bought covers for mine. I think they were about $1.50 each.

But at JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby you can use your 40 and 50% off coupon which makes them even cheaper!!!!Thats how I got mine

I love mine to cut the edges of ragged flannel quilts. It is so much easier than with regular scissors.

Why is everyone rushing to Home Depot for these when they cost less on sale at Jo-Ann's? For the blade cover? They do latch closed when not in use don't they?
