I use mine for Linus quilts with an overall meandering which works great. I'm not very clever at being able to do any other FMQ with it, so I use the frame with water soluable thread to baste my quilts and then FMQ on my domestic machine.

I bought one too and sold it without ever using it. I just couldn't go to the trouble of setting it up. Maybe if you had a machine set up that way permanently. I like my machine with a wider bed.

I see lots of them for sale. I think the show demo's make it look easier than it is.

I have one and use it. Have my 'quilting machine' set up on a 6 foot banquet table in my spare spare room....
I do not make any thing bigger than a twin, so it works fine for me....
There is a learning curve...that you kinda have to get thru....you have to 'learn' how to attach the backing, batting and top to the rods....but once you do a couple ....it works well for me....
I did buy mine used at a far reduced rate over full price....and for what you get it works for me.......

HI, I started the other thread or tried to, but not sure what happened to it and when I clicked on the link that Auntiepiggylpn suggested I got nothing. Anyway I am interested in what people have to say. I have quilted on rNolting, HQInfusion also Gammill but just don't have room for anything like that and I am basically doing small quilts for charity or twin bed size so thought this might be helpful.

Thanks for all the comments-----stilll undecided might look for a used one.
