Default Charm party tote

Has anyone made the "Charm Party Tote"? The patterns calls for 15 1/2 inch buttons and nowhere in the instructions does it say what to use the buttons for (unless I'm missing something). Thanks for an answer, if you know. Diane

I think they are attached (for embellishment purposes) to the middle of each charm.....that's what I did and it looks really cute.

I recently received that pattern too! I haven't made it yet, but look very closely at the colored picture and you can see them. I prob will skip that part.

I have made the Charm Party Tote, and didn't use the buttons, because I didn't really want them, but I don't remember seeing anything in the instructions about them either. I think margoee is correct, in that the buttons are meant to be sewn in the center of each charm.

Jan Rutherford, a member of the qb, has made lots and lots of these bags. In fact, I have 2 of them. Most of the women in our Bible study have them and we all love them! She did a marvelous job.

On the picture (I googled it too) you can just see the buttons on the joins of the charm squares. Looks like a great pattern.
