Default Foot Pedal rest for sewing machine

Does any one out there have a wooden foot rest that you put your sewing machine pedal on to prevent it from slipping around on the floor? I want the measurements or photo to make one. Thank you.

I've only ever seen the ones made from foam drawer liner. Wouldn't wood slide around on the floor as well?

My foot pedal slipped around on our carpet no matter what I used under it.
So my husband took a piece of pegboard that we had around and cut it to length as follows.... the foot pedal was where I wanted it for comfort and the edge of the board was under the edge of the pedal and the far edge of the pegboard reached to the baseboard. Then he glued velcro to the bottom of the foot pedal (two places) and stapled the matching velcro piece to the pegboard. This holds the pedal securely.
My intent for travelling was to take the pedal off and put some spare velcro over the foot pedal stuff to keep it clean. But when I went to a retreat recently I just took the whole shebang as it fit easily in my travel bag.
If you need pictures please let me know and I'll see if I can get some and transfer them to the computer to send.

I looped and tied the foot pedal cord to make it shorter, that stopped the traveling on any surface.

I saw a tip online to put a couple of rubber bands around it to prevent the foot from moving. I don't know if it works or not.

A simple logical solution that works!

I shortened my cord and secured it so no tension on the plug and the pedal didn't move away from me all this morning.

The two rubberbands didn't work on a concrete floor.

I use a landscape tile - 12" sqr and 1 1/2" high. Perfect for my short legs, too. I put some rubber shelf liner under it.
Sure doesn't move!
