Found a bent flat head pin......
In my sewing machine thread path, near the take uP lever. I only use those pins On the quilting frame, and had just removed the viking from the frame due to poor performance. Maybe the pin was causing problems? And how did it get there?

I don't know how the pin got into your machine, but I know where all the socks go: there is a hole in the sky above Alpha Centauri, and the little green men cannot figure out where all those single socks are from that fall out of the hole!!

I thought it was the hungry, hungry dryer! Or, the playful, playful pups.

I wondered why my machine sounded funny sewing yesterday, I stitched through a flower head pin. Didn't seem to do any harm and I was glad that I don't use the round head pins anymore. I did have to cut the pin out of my line of stitching and the flower has a line of stitching in it now. Maybe flower head pins are in a migration mood?

First time i used the frame, i was amazed to sew down a flat head pin. I also cut that one out.
With the new machine, i sewed throughmmy finger (dumb!) which messed up the timing. Machine is now fixed, and i keep one hand on each handle.
