Does anyone use used dryer sheets for foundations in string or crumb blocks?

There was a thread about them a couple of months back...seems like we didn't like them due to residue and flammable.

You can search the topic and read all the comments about dryer sheets. Overall, I think USED dryer sheets work well, but make sure to wash and dry first before using. Some even suggest doing this more than once. There were comments on them being flammable so I would not suggest using in children's quilts.

I only use muslin, scrap material or paper. I don't want those left over chemicals and such in any of my quilts:
