I LOVE paper piecing. When I first learned I went a little overboard. I made a small wall hanging with sail boats. My husband thought it was great. Then I tried larger blocks and I made 3 twin size quilts for grandchildren. The blocks were hearts (a variety) with cats, airplanes, and flowers and hearts. I have since then made more complicated things. But I still love it!!

I liked to paper foundation piecing, I would make wall hangings and tablerunners for gifts. Even did a demo for the guild meeting program. Lots of fun

I love paper piecing too and love to teach it also. I go to Carol Doak, quilterscache sites too. It is great to use smaller pieces of fabric.

I'm hooked too! Have an overwhelming amount of scraps and last week I was "snowed out" of home (in Atlanta) and was stuck at my daughter's home in Columbus, GA. Thankfully I had taken a sewing machine & "supplies" and a large bin of scraps. I didn't use paper piecing but a fabric foundation.
