Has anyone ever heard of a Franklin sewing machine? I never heard of this brand before. It's for sale in a cabinet in a yard sale this week-end. I didn't price it tho.

Franklin was sold by Sears Roebuck...the first one appeared in the Sears catalog in 1911, according to information available on Needlebar. Just a quick search of that site indicates that they were badged machines made by Davis.
