Are they the same?
Is a Brother PQ1500 the same as a Brother Nouvelle 1500S?
I have a low shank Big Foot...it won't fit my Brother Nouvelle. I don't like the "darning" foot that came with the machine. I prefer it clear...more open. So I'm wondering about the Big Foot high shank. Will it work?
Are there any recommended free motion quilting foot for the Brother Nouvelle?
Thanks so much. I will post this on the actual post as well.

Hi Cindel,
I replied to your pm, hope I answered all your questions..if you have any others, please feel free to ask. I may not know the answers, but I'll give it a go trying to find out. Everyone here on QB is really helpful too!

I have the same question as Cindel. My box says PQ-1500S, my machine says Nouvelle 1500S. Have only tried FMQ once and have tension problems due to light weight bobbin thread and standard thread above. But pretty much got that ironed out. Foot that came with it seems really long and does not have much bounce. I thought I had it on wrong, but there really is only one way. Don't like it like I do my open-toed one I use on my Kenmore/Janome.

Here is a link to a picture I took that shows the difference in size between the fmq foot that came with the machine, and the fmq feet I bought that work so much better!

Also as far as I know the Brother PQ1500 and the Brother Nouvelle 1500S are the same machines.
