Don't do big enough stitches that it can snag into because it will mean that other things will snag easily on it as well. Until you get it rightly, you could use a round toe or a darning foot.All the best.

Love the quilt. Your stitching looks good. Keep going and you'll get it to where YOU are pleased, and you're the only one who counts.

All of the above! However, I have cut the toes off my FM foot which helps me see my stitches better and don't get caught on anything. Check YouTube for videos on FMQ as they are very helpful.
