Thanks for sharing such a heart warming story.

I remember when I was a little girl and I'm almost 71 now. I think I stayed at the neighbors house more than I did at home. They were two elderly ladies. One who had lost her husband and her sister who had never married and was a school teacher. I treasure the times when they would show me how to do things. They have long since passed, but the memories live on.

This girl will treasure the time you and her spend together quilting and learning together.

I am so happy for you. It is wonderful that you are finally able to bond with your grand daughter. Both of you will benefit by having a quilt partner. Have fun!

What a heartwarming story. I hope you two become fast friends and quilting buddies. It sounds as if you are just what she needs now in her life, and you her.
