    Default Gingher Scissor Sharpening

Have any of you sent scissors to Gingher to be sharpened?

If so, what did you think of the service?

I had mine sharpened at the local store where I bought my Bernina's.

I had mine sharpened at local store, and they messed them up, sent them to Gingher, and they fixed them, very satisfied with their service, I will send them again when needed.

I would not have them sharpened any where else. I too sent an improperly sharpened pair to them and they came back perfect.

I would never trust my Gingher scissors to anyone but them! I actually dropped mine on the basement floor and sprung them. I sent them to them, they fixed them, sharpened them and sent them back. I knew it was my actual scissors I got back because of a spot on them. You won't regret sending them there!

    Thanks for the reports.

I have a couple of them that aren't cutting 'right' - and I have had scissors sharpened 'locally' with very disappointing results.

I sent them 4 pair of nippers and 2 pair of scissors. I am very happy with the results.

This is good to know. Any idea on how long it took to get them back?

I never knew this service was available. Thanks for the information. I love my Gingher scissors and now I know they will last a good long time.
