I just found out that the main item from a recent order to Coltilde was discontinued. The problem is I found out after they shipped the small item and charged nearly as much shipping as it cost. It would have been nice if they had let me know before they shipped it instead of one hour after. It was not something that I really had to have, just for fun. Give the option, I would have canceled the order rather than pay double because of shipping.
Thanks for letting me vent. Don't know that I will order from this company again.

I would contact them and tell them this they may offer you a discount or some type of refund.

Joann's has done the same thing to me a few times. I pretty much quit ordering from them unless it's free shipping. Sorry this happened-in my experience the company will never or rarely make it right.

I know you are kind of stuck now, but often times there is a comments section, and this is a great place to add notes that say "If you don't have all of my order, please call xxX"

Some online sellers actually have this as an option to "check."

Call them, write them a hand written letter and also email them....if you get the right person they will correct it...its amazing how all the customer service reps are all different...so will want to make it right and do.

I definitely would let them know how disappointed you are in their service and how they handled your order and shipping. Maybe they will give you a freebie of some sort.

it's always better to send a factual complaint to the management of the company when we have unhappy customer service experiences.

venting about it here won't fix the problem.

please write to them. i'll bet they offer some sort of compromise or consolation.
