On occasion?? How about all the time? :?

I don't think I've ever sewn anything that had more than a few pieces without have to stretch a little to make sure points and seams match up.

I can usually get the first two pieces to line up - it is all downhill from there.

Some of that fudge might be because you don't square up. Do you see flashing lights and hear that siren. :) You are really living dangerously.

You might call it fudging, but it is really called "Easing". The more you have to do it the more likely you either cut something wrong or are sewing with the wrong seam allowance. I rarely have to ease pieces together to get them to fit correctly, but can ease as much as an extra inch into 4" when I have to fix someones stretchy bias. Oh, did I say Hi?I been lurking for a few weeks now.
