I have the fun and done chit chat pattern but haven't tried it yet. If anyone has tried it I would be interested to hear how it went. Pictures would be great too!

Thanks everyone! I think I'll try one. Now, will it be the Easy Diamonds or Chit Chat? Decisions, decisions!

:) Hey I love this tool and the patterns look like they are nice. I am going to try it too. That is a nice site ... thanks for the heads up.

p.s.) I had my next door neighbor, kitty over for tea this afternoon and showed her the video, she is going to try it too! LoL! She belongs to a couple quilt groups and I am sure she is going to spread the word.

Could someone who bought the templates measure them and tell us the dimensions? They would be easy to make.

Well, I just ordered the fun and done patterns and I decided to just go for it and order the templates too. I figure by the time I buy the plastic and try to cut it out perfectly and probably ruin it, I will be wishing I had just bought them. I'm sure it would be possible to make the quilt without the templates, but I'm all for making things easier and quicker. Can't wait for the order to come so I can get started. If anyone has made any of the fun and done patterns, please post some pictures. I would love to see one completed. I already had the chit chat pattern and I ordered the easy diamonds and zip strip.

I'm trying the Fun and Done method on the quilt I am making for my Mama. The quilt has 16 inch blocks, so I have to modify everything. I love the look of it. My block is traditional, so really all I'm doing is adding the 1 inch all around and hand quilting. I'll post pics as soon as my camera battery arrives in the mail!

I was thinking after I read the last post that you could use this method on any quilt block as long as it would look ok with a sashing. I think of all the qayg methods I've been researching, this is my favorite. I like the fact that you end up with a plain back. I don't want sashing on the back of my quilt. Can't wait to try it.
