Default Fusible Fleece Fused

I have a bolt of Fusible Fleece that has fused to itself. I have had this for years and when I got it out today to make a purse it won't come apart. I tried to force it but it is so distorted I'm afraid I won't be able to use it. Any suggestions to get this to come apart?

perhaps try putting it in the dryer- for just a few minutes---to warm it- then maybe you can carefully pull it apart. i'd be afraid to loosen it with an iron-but a dryer might work...keep an eye on it though- try a few minutes- if it seems to work you can put it back in for a few more minutes---
then when you are going to store it- make sure to fold it so the fusable side is not against itself---you could put parchment paper over it- then fold it. good luck (

I think I would cut my losses and buy some new fleece.

Try heating it with a blow dryer and gently pulling it apart. If you can't get it apart then ask for suggestions for a block of fabric in whatever thickness you are stuck with. You may need to put a pillowcase on it and call it a back pillow.
