So I heard a speaker talk about fusible thread instead of using steam a seam. I wondered if any one has tried this or has any advice about it.

I have some that I am playing with... I would not say it will take the place of steam a seam in my sewing... But I did like it for closing the area when turning a project right side out, it basted that turning area closed nicely and held it well while topstitching around the edges :D:D:D I didn't sew with it, I just layed it in the seam line and ironed it down.
