Default Binding

Usually use 2.5" binding and metered corners work out great. Decided to use 2.75" binding, stopped .25" before end like before, corners were not good. Do I need to do something different with wider binding? Thanks for your help.

The distance you stop at the corner will be the width of the front binding. If you wanted the binding to be larger then the 1/4 inch, you need to sew on the binding at a larger them 1/4 inch seam allowance(so you have batt in the binding) and stop at your corner to turn at the desired width of the front binding.

Stop stitching sooner.
Ic your seam allowance is 1/4 inch, stop stitching 1/4 inch from the end.
If your sesm allowance is 3/8 inch, sto stitching 3/8 inch from the end.

That 1/8 inch does make a difference.

Ic your stitch length forces you to choose between too close to the edge or npt quite close enough to be exact, stay further away
