thank you all very much. i love you guys, too.

ok. if we behave ourselves for another month, i'll ask Admin if we can have a BOM category. (not that i'd try to stop anybody else from asking first. i'd just like us to write our own "rules" first. if we have to have the durned things, i'd rather they were the product of our definitely agreed upon ideas. LOL)

For example Arpil's blocks threasd come off May 15. Then May comes off JUne 15. That gives time to get the info, show off and down load whatervr and still have room for the next month.

We seem to have simplified the offer dates, now lets do hte same for the rest. Just a thought. See you Sunday at chat.
QN... I think your concern is great. But... What room are you talking about? I is a computer engineer. I can assure you, the board is not running out of room, there is no need to archive anything, no need to delete anything. We are nothing more than a gnat on the butt of a very large elephant, a 6000 ft tall blue elephant. Or maybe it's pink?

Perhaps the length of the threads intimidates you? Just scan for the pretty pictures, key in on people whom you respect, do a little casual reading in between, next thing you know, the thread is read. Me? I scan for those whom I know will be giving me the most grief. Patrice, Kathy, ButterCream... just get in line to abuse

no rules. at least not yet. hope we can avoid them.

separate space was a proposed solution to prevent convolution. not asked for yet. not set in concrete. plenty of time for ideas to keep bouncing around until we hit on something that works for as close to everybody as we can get it.

I just found the rules and a list of names, are there really only 37 of us?even with 2 blocks a month that leaves me a year to figure out how to do the block post and info. Yea

this is where we seem to be as of page 4: (quoting myself)

Admin has given his ok for Country Quilter to post on the 15th, under separate threads (one for instructions and discussion, the other pictures; like the April 1st).

Norah, assuming you agree, you'll go on the 1st of May, also separate threads.

Using the original list, that would give mimisharon until the 15th of May to decide if she wants to post then or wait until 1 June. If she wants to wait, we can ask Marcella if she wants to go on 15 May.

That gives us another month to haggle over any details the majority feel need further discussion.

Nobody needs to feel obligated or pressured to do more than one per month.
(done quoting myself)

thousands of people looked at the march stuff. thousands again looking at April. hundreds of downloads. so the "only 37" is relative.

ain't it great? :P

Tim, are those your cute little toes in your avatar? You are going to have to go everywhere incognito now because we might recognize you.

When I first came to the site I was more interested in pictures of quilts and pattern's. (I still have not been able to decide on a pattern for the fabric I was so excited about at the time) But I would like to see a thread with pictures only of ea. BOM as they come in without any chat between. The name of the block, and date posted of course would be in the subject line. Each individual quilter's info posted with thier block and maybe a small blurb by the quilter at time of posting. It would be WAY COOL if the reply box on these pages would send any comments on individual pieces to a separate thread. How hard would that be Tim. ??

I was in the process of laying out the blocks on YBR and thought having some photos of the prospective blocks would let me see how it all came together.

I thought y'all would like my toes. Besides, that's my better side, photographically.
