Two things: A $3.00 stylus I bought at the LQS and a cotton tweezer made by clover,for pulling out the thread after the ripper has been lurking about. My friend gave it to me as a birthday present and it saves my fingers big time.

On item is the "Add a quarter ruler" - great for paper piecing. My turntable cutting mat is another very handy item. I guess the item other than the sewing machine that I use the most is my "June Taylor Press N Cut" my daughter gave me for Christmas a few years ago - one side is for ironing, the other a cutting mat - I live in a townhome and my kitchen/living room is my sewing area, can't really keep the ironing board up for ironing the blocks as I complete them, this little mat is ideal.

Main item, though not used on a daily basis: the Simplicity Bias Tape Maker. Worth every penny. I'm always amazed as the fabric comes out the folding/pressing area and it's even. Great time saver.

My Olfa rotary cutter. My favorite is the one where you squeeze to cut and the blade automatically goes back "up" when you release it.
