I'm getting very excited, our local shop where I took a few lessons, lends out their tables on a Tuesday afternoon so I'm going this afternoon to put the wadding and the backing on my very first quilt, they will also show me what to do and help to tack it together. It's huge, it's a bedspread for my daughter. :D

Best bit, which really surprised me, they don't charge for it.

I'm off to Newark to a Quilt Show with my friend today then we are nipping into another shop she found by accident that sells embellishments.

Really disappointed, I didn't get as much done as I wanted, I've used this odd material for the edging and it didn't lie flat so I've got to take a panel off and sew it back on again.
:(

Still, the ladies were soooooo helpful and wonderful, and I've plenty to be getting on with with quilt no 2 for my other daughter, so all be sorted soon.
