Default Getting Those Labels On

I have just spent several minutes looking at my list of quilts I've made, and realize that there are SEVEN of them that do not have labels. Some were completed as far back as March. What a slacker I am. Do you ever get so involved with the quilts themselves that you let the last part slide for a while?

I really try to finish each project before I go on to the next.

Same here. I'm a real stickler for finishing up a project before starting a new one. Plus, my labels go on before I bind them, that way the label is part of the binding process...

I also label before I bind, but I've been known to let the binding slide for awhile, especially if I don't have a planned recipient.

Labels are the hardest thing for me to do - even after I preach at my granddaughter that an artist always signs her work! Finish a project before starting another - doesn't happen here - I work on at least 6 projects at a time and am usually planning several more as I work.

I have started sewing my label to the back of the quilt BEFORE quilting. That way I don't have to do any hand sewing, and the label can not be easily removed (especially if the quilting goes over it, too).

I put the label on before I quilt it. Hugs

I have yet to put a label on my quilts. I know...shame on me.

I started out with good intentions, and I suppose I still have them, but I haven't put a label on a quilt in a very long time. If I gift a quilt it does get a label though. And I do keep records, so I know when it was made, not that it matters that much.

I just hoop the bottom corner of the back, and do the label using my embroidery machine. Then binding is last, and it's ready to go to it's new owner.
Normally, I do one quilt at a time. (normally, lol)
