I will be in Gettysburg, PA for a conference this week. I have only been able to locate 2 LQS one of which handles primarily civil war reproduction fabrics and clothing and accessories for Civil War reenactments. I would appreciate any heads up. I am traveling there from Muncy, PA so would be interested in any shops along the route also.

The shop you mentioned that carries the civil war stuff also has a lot of quilting fabrics. They also carry a lot of great cheater cloth panels. It will be well worth your checking it out. There is a nice shop between Littlestown and Hanover now called The Finishing Stitch. It is part of the Quilt Patch complex. They have some great fabric.

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks, I didn't know if that one shop had anything other than Civil war material or not. The other one is the opposite way from home and as I have 2 other nurses riding with me, they might not want to go that way.

I would loved to have been able to attend that show!!! Some of the workshops are very interesting. However, I have now returned from Gettysburg. I did find a neat store, Needle and Thread where I got some beautiful batiks for half price! Will post pics soon.
