I have just found this perfect little baby quilt that I would like to make for my baby boy expected in a few weeks. I would like to have newborn pictures done on it. Does anyone know a good site to find a big variety of layer cakes? I'm still new to searching and finding things online. Usually I go to Joann's or Hancocks Thanks for the help.

Brenda, your best bet is either a local quilt shop or online.
Check the Moda website. It's awesome!!
OR I just thought of Ebay. I've bought from very good sellers
there. You can type in layer cake fabric and it will come up.
Good luck!

If there is certain fabric you like, you can always cut your own. Otherwise the local shops are a great resource or online. Congratulations.

Try the Fat Quarter Shop. She carries tons and tons of precuts.

Thanks everyone. Looked on Ebay and the Fat Quarter Shop, also called LQS. Oh and the Moda shop also. I have only found two that are boy related, and do not have flowers in them. I think I decided I will go with Pure by Moda, but i'm a little disappointed that there are not more geared towards boys. having three girls at home I have not every really had to think about looking for stuff for boys, now that I have to I can see its going to be harder than I thought. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

I just ordered fabric for my new grandson to be. Had looked at pure but changed my mind and ordered lily and will, I found the colors softer, check it out and congrats on the boy. BTW My DS is having his first son after having girls too, very exciting for them. Also for something fun check out riley blake fabrics, there is a new one out called all stars 2 that I looked at for last DGS a few months ago

Thank you so much for the Riley Blake idea. Looking at his site, it seems that his Layer cakes are only 24 10x10, which seems a little weird to me, so then I would have to buy two of them for the quilt. I looked at the lily and will as well and really liked it also. Congrats to you as well on the new GS.
