Congrats on your new machine. I have the Janome 6600 which the Horizon replaces. It is all the machine I will ever need. I am envious, the Horizon is so pretty, and love the needle hole plate.

Thanks everyone...I had a little play this evening and I am thrilled..not that I did much..lol. I have a couple of quilts to finish and I can't wait for her to sink her teeth into them..lol. Only only needs binding but the other, a baby quilt, needs to be quilted.

I have no idea what I will call her/him yet..lol. I'll have to wait and see what comes to mind as I use her.. or him :)

Been watching the video and now I'll have a look through the manual and then I might even get game to try the machine...lol. Ok, I'm off to learn more..lol
Congratulations, your Horizon will make you so happy!!

Well I just looked up your new baby and she is a beauty! And with a sewing space of 11" that's awesome, I saw you got a great deal on a machine that will be used more hours than a car!! Totally worth it. Enjoy.

Congrats. This looks like an awesome machine. If I hadn't wanted the embroidery feature on my Bernina, I would have considered this one.
