I am so happy that your grandson's outlook looks better and better for you. I can relate, as we have a granddaughter with a very strange heart issue, that will require her to take betablockers for the rest of her life, and have a pacemaker when she gets to be around 12 or so. But I can say this, we are very fortunate to have her. Our 2nd granddaughter was born 3mos early and had a similar heart problem, had a pacemaker before she was even 24hrs old. Sadly she did not make it, we lost her just short of a month. I do treasure all the memories we have of her though. I pray for your grandson, and hope his little heart will continue to improve. Much love to you and your family. I certainly know how stressful these things can be.

What awesome news! God's blessings on your family--your quilt and monkey are so adorable!! I bet the staff in the children's cardiac unit would be thrilled to be able to give some of those monkeys to children facing cardiac surgery. Do you belong to a group that would consider this for a project? Love it!
