Default Great News From Fiskar!!

I inquired about the 24X6 ruler with the attached rotary cutter..I use this exclusively for all my cutting..I would love to have a back up and one for my daughter..It was taken out of production a few years ago..I wrote to Fiskar about this and received the following reply!!

Hello Pat:

Thanks for your inquiry. We are coming out with an updated version later this year. The original has been obsolete for a number of years, but after a quilters' revolt, we are re-issuing it.

Sincerely,

Brian Elmore

That is great news indeed. I also want to get this for my DD 15. I know many people will be very happy.

I have one of the originals. I remember when it first came out about 16 years ago and everyone about fainted from sticker shock. $50 for a ruler? Let's see that's comes to about $3 year so far and it's still working fine. I replace the rotary blade every now and then. I don't use it as much as I use to but it comes in handy at times.

Ah that is good news indeed. Obviously Fiskars listened to the quilting public.
