Great idea, eliminates the need to have a quarter inch foot for each of my machines.

Love this idea! I have been using small stacks of sticky notes or painter's tape for this purpose, but this seems to be a much better solution.

What an excellent idea! I love command strips and use them all the time. I have lots of extra strips so I am definitely going to try this. Thank you for the tip.

Xtgirl, the strips are designed to be easily removed without leaving any residue

Here's the link to the Command website:

This strip would go right over my bobbin case so I would have to remove it every time I need a new bobbin.. Will the strip stick multiple times or would I have to replace the strip each time?

P.S. the Command strips are the adhesives that are packaged with the hooks.

what a great idea. I was just going to order another 1/4" guide and the worse part of ordering this is that it only comes with the guide ruler. One can't buy just the strips......going out today and buying the Command Strips.

thanks for the tip, MaryJane
