I have learned to recognize the sound of when my thread comes out of the upper hook. This happens to me often with one of my machines.

That's a familiar sight for me, too. All that lovely thread wasted...so sad. On the brighter note...I just love that fabric!

Ive learned to listen for THAT sound too.... The frustrating part is when I mentioned my tread doing this to my dealer, he acts like I'm the crazy one!!!!! It's making me feel alittle better to see it's not ME... The thong that really drive me bonkers is I am suppose to be able to walk away and let it sew... Can't do that and listen too.....

Thread booger, thread snot, thread vomit....Yep we've all had our share. It usually happens to when you have only one spool of really special thread that you are trying to finish your quilt with.
