Thin Material, do I dare to use?
I am in the process of cutting up FQs for Turning 21 Again quilt. One of the fabrics my DIL sent for from Lily fabrics. It is very thin. I'm worried about how well it will wear. Someone suggested using lightweight fusible interfacing behind it to make it more sturdy. Any one have any thoughts? In the picture, you can see in the lower left corner a yellow square from my cutting board showing thru. (sorry, My upload of picture is failing!?)

I dont think I would use it. I actually have that problem with some material a lady at work gave me.. It has lovely patterns but some of it is just so thin I hesitate to use it in a quilt. I have been making quilted purses with my favorite ones because I figure a purse hardly gets washed and we change them so often they may not need to hold up for years.
